Wendy was commissioned to create a video installation to accompany a collaborative live spoken word, poetry, and music performance by Justin Hopper and English folk musician Sharron Kraus. The first performance of the album ‘Chanctonbury Rings’ released on Ghost Box records, came from Justin’s 2017 novel “Old Weird Albion” – a “poetical, autobiographical and psycho-geographical account” of his experiences on the South Downs.

Wendy was commissioned to create another series of videos to accompany the live performance of Justin and Sharron’s follow up spoken word/music album ‘Swift Wings’ also released on Ghost Box records. ‘Swift Wings’ takes the pagen Sussex based landscape poems of 1920’s occultist and writer Victor Neuberg – best known for his relationship with Aleister Crowley and for his discovery of Dylan Thomas. Hopper’s readings of the poems are set to Sharrons inspired fusion of atmospheric, traditional english folk tropes..
