Home / Remembrance & Connection: Creating a Talisman to Honour a Loved One

Luna Arts offers this intimate workshop for adults or children, held in a small group of up to 12 participants, exploring themes of death, remembrance, and connection through conversation and creative making.

In this nurturing space, participants will craft a remembrance talisman – a personal object that serves as both a keepsake and emotional anchor. Blending the protective resonance of traditional talismans with the act of memorialising someone significant, the talisman will become an object of memory and remembrance.

This Workshop is reflective, hands-on, and held in a safe, supportive space to talk about death, share emotions, celebrate life, and keep stories alive.

No prior creative experience is required.

This workshop was developed as part of an Arts Council–funded R&D project, with pilot workshops previously held at St Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley)
