Led by Dagmara Rudkin and Wendy Pye, this intimate workshop for adults (up to 12 participants) invites reflection on the significance of place in participants’ lives – from cherished landscapes and past homes to public spaces and places left behind – and explores how these places shape our identities and where we want to be remembered.
Through discussion, exploration, and creative activities, participants consider questions such as: How important is it to preserve memory in a place that holds personal meaning? Where might that place be?
The workshop provides space for personal reflection on life and death through conversation and creative expression, exploring themes of place and remembrance.
Developed as part of an Arts Council – funded project, this workshop was piloted at Making Space Residency at Fabrica (Brighton), and St Michael’s Hospice, Hastings.
