Creative projects and workshops are produced and facilitated by Luna Arts to encourage reflection, conversation, and connection around death, dying, and remembrance. Through creative workshops, open dialogue is nurtured, greater acceptance of mortality is encouraged, and emotional well-being is supported within compassionate, community-focused environments.
Contemporary beliefs, attitudes, and rituals surrounding funerals, life ceremonies, and memorialisation are further explored through project work and creative practice.
The research and development of this project has been supported by Arts Council England. Partnerships are established with St Michael’s Hospice (St Leonards) and St Catherine’s Hospice (Crawley), and support is received from Creative Futures, Sussex Community Development Association, and Orange Collective to bring these explorations into community and healthcare settings.
